When I heard that November’s theme was Spotify Wrapped, I was over the moon. Music is a huge part of me and what I want to incorporate into my photography, so having this opportunity to showcase that in a magazine was amazing. I worked with a great team and amazing models, and we all hustled and made our vision happen in a short timeframe. Our inspiration was 90’s girl groups - TLC, En Vogue, Destiny’s Child, etc. We aimed to highlight just how impactful their style influence is, especially today. When I look at these photos, “Shut Up and Drive” plays in my head LOL.
